Not sure how it happened, but we made it to the Utah vs. ND game on Saturday. We talked about going to the game since we moved out here, but Friday rolled around and we didn’t have tickets.
We decided to look on the internet for tickets to see how outrageous the prices would be. To our surprise, we found lower bowl tickets for 38 dollars a piece. 30 rows from the field. We purchased and picked up our tickets at the South Bend Airport Fedex office. Yes, it sounds a bit shady and we were a little nervous, but it worked seamlessly.
We are soooo GLAD we decided to go.
We were wet and cold in South Bend for the Football game, but it’s amazing how much it felt like home.
The Red and White Utah fans were great to see. Especially great friends from Helper. The Deeter boys were kind enough to let us spend some time with them during their vacation. We grabbed a wonderful dinner after the game at BWW’s.
Katie said this unexpected outing will fight off the “homesickness” until Christmas.
