We like to keep busy around here, and when I say “we” I mean Norah! Last Wednesday we went to the Zoo with friends. Norah loves all the dinosaurs and takes her new stuffed T-Rex everywhere. It is now the requested animal at bedtime.
Thursday was filled with lots of errands but Norah managed to spend a good chunk of time outside and playing hoops inside!
Friday was spent with a picnic outside and water fun.
Saturday was pretty exciting. My parents came up to tend Norah for the night! It was my first night away from Norah and I think I did pretty well! Norah did amazing, I don’t know if she really even noticed we weren’t around. Cameron and I went to a nice Sushi restaurant downtown … where no little fingers grabbed at our food. We did spend the majority of our dinner conversation on Norah, how much she would love the sushi at this place, the new things she does that amaze us, the fun things we plan to do with her this summer, etc. It was a great night and much needed. Mom and Dad if you are reading this just let us know when you want to do it again! Thanks you two!
We got home early Sunday afternoon and were jumping out of the car to see Norah. She was sleeping. We spent the rest of Sunday playing outside, of course! Norah sported her new swimsuit around and played in the water. It was a great day. Sad to see the weekend end. Hope everyone has a great week and Happy June! Until next time.
