After taking a vacation from updating this thing we have to decide to finally post all of the fun life happenings as of late.
Let’s go clear back to the first part of July because it is already nearing the end. Norah and I went home to Helper for a quick trip. She played in her cottage at Grandma and Papa’s. Papa ran through the sprinklers with her, and I don’t know if you can tell who had more fun! And she had her first experience of play dough, which she wasn’t fond of because she couldn’t eat it.
Cameron got his Lasik done on July 2. Everything went well. If you are wanting to watch the procedure I did in fact video it or you can ask Norah for the run down as she watched the whole thing! And Norah got her first Starbucks drink, whole milk, she was pretty excited!
That night Cameron had his followup appointment and we headed back down to Helper. The next day we went camping with the Oliver’s. Norah had a blast! Grandma took her for rides on the four wheeler and side by side. Grandpa took her fishing. And she got to be outside from the time she woke up till the time she went to bed.
Then we got spoiled yet again and JK stopped by on Monday. We went to a Bee’s game. Norah can officially say JK.
Then on July 8 Norah, Grandma, Auntie Sue and I headed to Litchville, ND to celebrate Grandma Great’s 85th Birthday! It was a glorious time! Grandma Great didn’t know that Auntie Sue was coming so that was a great surprise! Norah loved being in Litchville. It could be due to the fact that the school is just down the street from Grandma Greats and she could slide down the side all day by herself, or that she never had to be in her car seat in Litchville, or the fact that she got to go into the bar and wasn’t even carded.
Here are some pictures of our trip that went by all to quickly. If Cameron was with us we may have just stayed. Something about Grandma’s house and the peacefulness of Litchville.
This past weekend we got to spend Friday evening with Whitney and Nick. Norah had her first experience of disc golf. We all think she did pretty well. Then we had supper and headed to the park.
Well I am just about out of energy posting all of this so I am sure you need a break too! I will leave you with this beautiful picture of Norah – for tips on how to get your hair to stand up like this just use Raspberry jam like Norah!
Until next time …. and hopefully it won’t be as long!
