We were able to get out of our little one bedroom apartment this past Friday. I had some appointments in Columbus and Katie didn’t have any plans so she tagged along with me. (she did have to check her planner first – ha ha)
We went down on Thursday night and stayed in a hotel. We finally got to watch TV and we found out that that the next day (Friday) was going to be one of the worst snow storms this year for Columbus. We were a little nervous, but soon had quite a laugh.

All day on the radio we heard about all the schools that were closing early.
The snow wasn’t even sticking to the roads. If Utah canceled their schools when a snowstorm like this happened; we would have never went to school in January.
