I was a little sad for June to come. Tomorrow Norah will be 18 months. But, for now she is still 17 months.
We started out the week with a trip to the Zoo. Taking that girl to see the Dinosaurs and a ride on the carousel is heaven for her. We have also been playing outside nonstop since the weather has been so beautiful. Yesterday, my grandma had a layover in SLC. Cameron, Norah and I all tried to get through security to see her. They only let me. But it was great to see how wonderful she is doing. I pray that I will be like her one day (as I am sure everyone in our family is)! She may not want to remember her little stop in SLC though, as her flight was delayed and delayed because of the weather. I didn’t think it was that windy until we drove home and say a neighbor’s tree had blown over.
I have so many favorite parts of the day with Norah. Cameron coming home from work might just top the list. Usually he calls to let us know he is on his way. Norah and I are usually outside in the back. We go wait on the front steps until he gets home. She runs to the Jeep and hops in the drivers seat and drives into the garage with Cameron. She gets so excited that it might just be her favorite part of the whole day!
That is all for now … tomorrow will be a big day for Norah … and we will have a 1 1/2 year old.
